On Sunday, Mason and I made the voyage to the Pleasant Valley Pumpkin Patch. It was a long drive (theme of our life lately!) but totally worth it because they had SO many great things to do with a toddler!
The first thing we saw when we got there was a giant teepee. Mason ran right in, grabbed a drum out of a box, and sat down and started drumming. I just about died from laughing so hard. How do they know these things?!
Since he was too afraid to bounce in the (gloriously empty) bounce houses, I forced him to climb on some hay bails. There were all sorts of other little kids climbing all over but Mason was not impressed.
Next we went and played in the cornbox. I am totally in love with the corn box concept – you can dig in it, play with it, pour it in and out of buckets and it doesn’t get forever stuck in your hair and shoes. Yay corn!
Mason loved the petting zoo. He, as always, was most interested in the ducks and geese. Perhaps because they were the noisiest? He did enjoy this cow though (Click the picture to see the great expression on his face LOL)
It’s obvious we had a great time, right? Check back tomorrow for fun with corn mazes and tractors!
